Find your purpose with Dynamic Talent and O School

Dynamic Talent is excited to announce that we will be offering one student in Grade 10 or 11 the opportunity to attend O School’s ‘Global Future of Work’ Program and job shadow the Dynamic Talent team.

O School started inside Google, founded and led by Sameer Rawjee. The mission and philosophy of their ‘Global Future of Work’ program is centred on what they call Life Design. Through this they create communities of people who help each other learn, grow and find purpose at work.

We have chosen to partner with O School to sponsor a student, providing an opportunity to collaborate with other students worldwide, to find their purpose and to think in an interdisciplinary way so they can solve any problem and work anywhere.

The O School class of September and October 2020 will be learning from the best – from individuals at companies like Google, BCG, The New Yorker, and Alexander McQueen.

The selected student will have the opportunity to job shadow various members of the DT team, during the school holidays. We recognise that school students often have little exposure into different careers and the day-to-day goings-on of what really happens inside their dream job. This opportunity will give the chosen candidate real experience and insight into a career in Human Resources (HR) and innovation in the HR space. The areas of exposure will include recruitment, industrial relations, psychometrics, and talent intelligence. The student will also gain insight into the Dynamic Talent business model.

About O School’s Future of Work Program

The selected student will be joining other High School students from around the globe at O School’s 3-day online workshop that focuses on human purpose, creativity, and business entrepreneurship. The program will take place on 24 October, 31 October & 7 November 2020 from 18h00 - 21h00 SAST (12pm-3pm EST). O School was designed to develop young thinkers for the next version of work: the artists and scientists who understand the intersection of technology, humanities and consciousness. To do this they bring together a community of talented faculty from a variety of a-list companies, including Google, Deloitte, BCG, Lululemon and The New York Ballet. O School wants to help young people learn the hard skills to shape and participate in industries, but also to understand the basic tenets of what it means to be human.
